About Us

Our Story

Dr. Aprille P. Wealth-Warren is a trailblazer, bringing fine arts into the Christian arena—a pioneering movement that captivated and inspired many. During this time, she broke barriers and expanded the boundaries of spiritual expression through the arts. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Aprille earned Honorary Doctorates of Fine Arts and Humanitarian.

In the year 2000, in Miami, Florida, Dr. Aprille established The Elisha American Dance Theater. While leading this transformative initiative, she also nurtured her daughter, Jendayi Wealth-Phillips, preparing her to continue the legacy.

Jendayi Wealth-Phillips, a trained performing artist with advanced collegiate studies in Fine Arts, joined forces with her mother to further their shared vision. Together, they founded the first-ever artistic preparatory academy that seamlessly integrates the world of arts with professional studies. This groundbreaking institution not only offers exceptional education but also fosters a holistic development environment, blending creativity with academic excellence.

Through their combined efforts, Dr. Aprille Wealth-Warren and Jendayi Wealth-Phillips have created a beacon of innovative learning, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artists and scholars known today as “Elisha American Artistic Preparatory Academy” (E.A.A.P.A.).

I firmly believe that the arts play a crucial role in shaping our scholars character and instilling discipline. Through the combination of liberal arts, visual arts, performing arts, and more, our students learn creativity, teamwork, perseverance, and are prepared to be successful in any path they pursue.

I am truly honored to witness the growth and transformation of our scholars as they immerse themselves into the arts and discover their maximum potential.

Our Mission

Our mission at Elisha American Artistic Preparatory Academy (E.A.A.P.A.) is to provide a transformative K–12 education that uses the world of arts to develop young scholars’ intellect, character, and physical abilities. We are committed to serving all learners — from gifted students to those with learning challenges — nurturing each child’s unique gifts and fostering creativity, critical thinking, and personal growth.

Through a purposeful blend of academics, the arts, and life-skills development, we empower students to thrive academically, creatively, socially, and characteristically. We aim to cultivate citizens who are not merely influenced by the world, but equipped to influence it — confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven leaders who think critically, express boldly, and act with integrity. At EAAPA, we believe our students are our future, and we prepare them to impact the world with excellence, character, and creativity.
